thanks for posting the man from deep river. i knew the main theme (which i always admired for its whirling melody and lightness) but it was only recently (triggered by your post) that i've seen the dvd. crap movie, yet a few thrilling sequences. the guy is investigating aout cannibals in the jungle and is kidnapped by the native ones. after torture, he becomes more and more familiar with this cruel, uncivilized world. eventually turning into a rogue vigilant bastard, he falls in love with the Dorfschönheit.
